Diskussion:Everest Z5R

I don't know exact meaning of german words "Hersteller" and "Konstrukteur", but I suppose where is something wrong in this page. "Everest" was the commercial name of adding machines and (mainly) typewriters produced by "Officine Serio spa". Officine Serio was founded in 1932. Their headquarters was in Milan (Italy) while typewriters' factory was in Crema. Crema is a small town near Milan (40 Km) crossed by river Serio. Some years after they started to produce their first adding machine, the "Alfa Everest". In 1969 Officine Serio was merged in Olivetti.

"Hersteller" is the factory name

"Konstrukteur" is the engineer who constructed the machine (not inventor!)

You've solved problem of Everest / Officine Serio very good with remarks to Everest.
